Bangladesh Air Force Women Welfare Association (BAFWWA) President Tahmida Hannan on Saturday inaugurated the ‘Surokkha’ scheme which will provide retired airmen of BAF and their wives with the opportunity to receive free medical service at Air Force Base Bashar in Dhaka Cantonment.

She later distributed family medical books under the ‘Surokkha’ scheme on the central BAFWWA premises. Prayers were also offered for the success of this great initiative.

It is to be noted that this medical service has been introduced in all the bases of BAF. BAFWWA has already launched the ‘Nabo Alo’ scheme for all medical services, including family surgery, for Class IV employees.

BAFWWA has taken various steps to make medical services easily available to all. This medical facility will be provided from all the bases and units of the Air Force to ensure easy availability of this service.
