Bangladesh national women’s team will start their preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand today.

The Tigresses, who completed their mandatory 10-day quarantine on Monday, will have a two-day practice session in Auckland and later they will move to Nelson to complete a skill camp for nine days.

Meanwhile, three members of the women’s team, who failed to travel with the team to New Zealand after they were tested corona positive, are expected to fly today after coming out with negative results.

The trio will also have to complete a 10-day mandatory quarantine before joining their teammates.

Bangladesh will begin their maiden 50-over World Cup campaign against South Africa at University Oval, Dunedin on March 5.
