In a praiseworthy move, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has launched a new project aiming to empower the nursing workforce by enriching the library at National Institute of Advanced Nursing Education & Research (NIANER), Mugda in Dhaka.
Young-Ah Doh, Country Director of KOICA Bangladesh Office, formally inaugurated the project on January 23.
NIANER is the first-ever Graduate School of Nursing in Bangladesh established with KOICA’s largest bilateral project during 2012-2019 at a cost of US $13.75 million. It was established to develop nurse leaders in the area of nursing practice, education, research and management.
The Country Director of KOICA Bangladesh Office has expressed her utmost optimism, believing that the digital library will help NIANER strengthen its teaching facilities.
Taslima Begum, Director of NIANER, in her welcoming speech expressed her heartfelt gratitude for KOICA’s support to establish the digital library at NIANER.
