Parno Mitra joins Mosharraf Karim in Bildakini’s shooting

Tollywood actress Parno Mitra is acting in a Bangladeshi film again after 5 years hiatus. She will be seen opposite popular actor Mosharraf Karim in the movie titled ‘Bildakini’ directed by Fazlul Kabir Tuhin. Parno joined the shooting of the film on Tuesday. 

The shooting of the film is underway at a location in Naogaon district. Mosharraf Karim started shooting for the movie on January 12. According to the director, the filming will continue till January 25 at the same location. 

‘Bildakini’ has received a government grant in the financial year 2020-2021. The screenplay of the movie is based on a novel written by Nuruddin Jahangir. The film depicts women empowerment and freedom of motherhood. Apart from Mosharraf Karim and Parno, Lutfor Rahman George is playing an important role in the movie.

Earlier in an interview, Parno said, “I like the story of the film. Besides, it’s good to work with a talented actor likes Mosharraf Karim. I am happy about this project”. 

Parno Mitra is an Indian actress who appears in many Bengali films. She started her career on television. Her acting assignment was Ravi Ojha’s Bengali TV series Khela (2007). She came to the limelight through Anjan Dutta’s National Award-winning Bengali film ‘Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona’ in 2011.

Parno’s first Bangladeshi project was Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s ‘Doob’. Noted Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan played lead role in the movie.
