Grameenphone has launched a motorbike training programme styled "Defensive Motorbike Training for Distribution House Field Force" designed and developed in collaboration with BDMotorcyclist.

This global standard training programme aims to equip more than 2,000 sales executives and supervisors with advanced level riding tactics, skills, and responsible road-safety acts, reads a press release.

Syed Tanvir Husain, CHRO, Grameenphone, said, “We deeply believe in running our business operations responsibly for the overall eco-system. Our field force is an integral part of our business, and we must act on to safeguard them from any associated risks while they are riding bikes.”

The programme plan suggests that 1707 bikes are currently used for Grameenphone’s market operations.

Nine significant regions have been marked across the country, where the training program shall run till March 2023.

Grameenphone strives to maintain a workplace that prioritizes people safety and health and provides necessary security to all the employees in the value chain.

And in alignment to their responsible business conduct, the organization expects to create awareness regarding safe riding through the program, ultimately empowering societies with better skills to protect their life and livelihood.
