Training on social inclusion held

A 3-day training programme on ‘social inclusion and skill development’ was held at SOS Children's Village in the capital recently.

ZenEd., a youth-run volunteer platform, arranged the event titled ‘Attorney Raju Mahajan & Associates Presents: Together Towards Prosperity With ZenEd.’.

The organisation aims to build a non-discriminatory and inclusive society and pave the way for youths to become more responsible citizens through acquiring 21st-century skills.  ZenEd. conducted three sessions between  December 30 last year and January 6 this year where 20 teens of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh attended the events.

They have provided training in important topics such as emotional intelligence, leadership, netizenship, social awareness, and identity and inclusion. The sessions have been conducted remarkably through different activities, stories, games and discussions with the spontaneous participation of the children.

The project initiated by ZenEd. was sponsored by Attorney Raju Mahajan & Associates while the strategic partner of the project was SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh and the entire project was monitored by Amra Notun Network, BRAC Youth Platform.
