Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to introduce direct flights from Chattogram to Dubai on a regular basis from January 11.
It will also operate a special flight on Dhaka-Chattogram-Dubai route on Sunday, said the national flag carrier.
With the introduction of PCR Lab facilities at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram to test Covid-19 and for the convenience of passengers, the authorities have taken the initiative to operate special and regular flights, Biman said.
On Sunday, Biman’s special flight BG 4147 will depart from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:15 am and arrive at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at 11:00 am.
The same flight will leave Shah Amanat International Airport at 12:00 pm and reach Dubai at 3:30pm local time.
According to the Dubai Travel Advisory, the passengers must be at the airport at least 8 hours before departure.
The one-way maximum fare for an economy class ticket is Tk65,329 including taxes and the business class ticket is Tk86,536.
