Bangladesh national cricket team will start gym session in Christchurch from today after completing their strict three-day room quarantine after arriving in New Zealand.
The players will get the opportunity to do the gym session in small groups as they still have to be in quarantine for the next four days to complete their mandatory week-long quarantine period in New Zealand.
Bangladesh will play two two-day practice games after completing their seven days quarantine ahead of the two-match Test series.
The series which will be part of the 2021-2023 cycle of the ICC World Test Championship will get underway on January 1 with the opening Test, scheduled at Bay Oval in Tauranga.
The second and last Test will take place on January 9-13 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
