The arrestee was identified as Abul Kalam, 25, son of Hamid Hossain of Leda Rohingya Camp under the upazila.

Sources said Kalam fled from the police custody while being taken to court lock-up after arrest at Chattogram Court Building on Sunday afternoon.

Assistant Commissioner (AC-Kotwali Zone) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Md Mujahidul Islam said they arrested Kalam raiding the the camp at around 2:00am.
