All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and pacer Taskin Ahmed returned to Bangladesh Test side for the second Test against Pakistan, scheduled to be held in Dhaka on December 4-8, after both the players were declared fit on Tuesday.
Shakib, who has been sidelined for a hamstring injury since Bangladesh fourth Super 12 game of the ICC T20 World Cup, earlier failed to take part in the preceding three-match T20I series as well as the first Test due to the injury.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board also named opening batsman Mohammad Naim in their 20-member squad for the series-concluding Test and it’s the first time the southpaw received a call to represent the Tigers in red-ball cricket.
The 22-year old played six first-class matches so far and he scored 183 runs at an average of 16.63.
