Virtual confce on ‘preparing public leaders’ ends

The closing session of three-day virtual conference 2021 on “Preparing Public Leaders in South Asia for a Post Pandemic World” ended on Sunday.

The programme was jointly organised by the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University (NSU), the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) of USA, and the JSW School of Public Policy of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) in India.   

A total of 87 papers were presented and 14 panel discussions from 13 countries and 78 universities across the globe took part on the occasion.

Bhawani Prasad Khapung, State Minister for Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal, was present as the chief guest while Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of NSU, chaired the event, said a press release.

Dr Angel Wright-Lanier, Executive Director of NASPAA of USA, David Marshall, Director of Membership Development of NASPAA of USA and Dr Namrata Chindarkar, Chairperson, of JSW School of Public Policy of IIMA, attended the event as special guests.
