Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is unlikely to make a cut in the upcoming home series against Pakistan, said BCB sources on Sunday.

BCB sources added that team management is not very keen to keep Mushfiqur in the T20 series but a decision will be made after talking with BCB president Nazmul Hasan, who makes the last call in the selection.

Mushfiq did not take part in the practice camp at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium comprising T20 probable’s raised quite a few eyebrows.

Mushfiq came in the morning and ran at the SBNS for some time. A practice game is expected to be played at SBNS today.

Meanwhile, Test skipper Mominul Haque is not playing in the ongoing National Cricket League due to an ankle injury but he is likely to be available for the two-match Test series.
