NSU-NASPAA S Asia virtual confce begins

A three-day virtual conference 2021 on “Preparing Public Leaders in South Asia for a Post Pandemic World” began on the North South University (NSU) campus premises in the city on Friday.

The programme is being jointly organised by the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University (NSU), the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) of USA and the JSW School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) of India.   

A total of 87 papers, 14 panel discussions from 13 countries and 78 universities across the globe are being presented at the event, said a press release.          

MA Mannan, Minister of Planning Ministry, inaugurated the first-day event as the chief guest on Friday while Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of NSU presided over it.
