BCB forms two-member committee to review World Cup performance

The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Monday formed a two-member committee to review their national team’s performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Oman and UAE.

BCB stated that the members of the committee are BCB Directors Enayet Husain Siraj and Jalal Yunus.

The Tigers failed to clinch a single victory from their five games in the Super 12 stage while they also lost to Scotland in the qualifiers.

Bangladesh only managed to earn a spot in the main event courtesy of their wins against Oman and PNG in the first round.

“The committee has been entrusted with taking the views of Bangladesh squad members (Players and Team Management) and relevant stakeholders to assess why the team could not deliver the expected performance in the event and share its findings with the board,” the BCB said in a statement.
