‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ to be released Dec 10

Nurul Alam Atique’s directorial film ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ will be released in the theatres on December 10. 

The movie got an uncut censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) on Sunday. 

The liberation war-based film received a government grant in the fiscal year 2014-15. The shooting of the film began in 2016. The filming was done in different locations of Kushtia, Tangail and Gauripur districts.

Actors Ahmed Rubel, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Laila Hasan, Ashok Byapari, Ashish Khandaker, Joyraj, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Elora Gowhar, Jyotika Jyoti, Dilruba Doel, Zinat Sanu Swagata, Shahjahan Shamrat, Dipak Sumon and others will be seen acting in the film.

About the film, Nurul Alam Atique said, “In our films, the Liberation War of Bangladesh is generally shown in a linear scale. Besides, there are a lot of backdrops in our films. ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ is such a film. We dedicated the film to the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.”

Producer Matia Banu Shuku said, “After overcoming several obstacles, we have completed the film. We can say, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence, ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ is a liberation war of Bangla movies.”

Under the banner of Pandulipi Karkhana, the story and screenplay of  ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ have also been done by Nurul Alam Atique.
