The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Bangladesh Debate Federation (BDF) jointly launched a campaign “Youth Against Corruption” on Monday marking National Youth Day.

The objectives of the three-month campaign are to sensitize young people regarding corruption, empower them with the knowledge to combat corruption, and ultimately create a young generation with self-efficacy and attitude to stand against corruption in Bangladesh.

Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Md Tazul Islam was present as the chief guest at the virtual launching event.

President of Bangladesh Debate Federation Abdullah Mohammad Shukrana and Former secretary of BDF Abdun Noor Tushar also spoke at the event.

The “Youth Against Corruption” campaign places young people at its heart to promote anti-corruption awareness and advocacy.
