Legendary film actor Nayak Raj Razzak’s son Khalid Hossain Samrat has returned to acting after four years. Recently, Samrat took part in several dramas and serials.

About acting in the television dramas, Samrat said, “Recently I’ve worked in several small screen projects. I feel really good to act again after a long time. I’m also in talks with some television projects as well. All in all, I’m getting busy with the small screen projects. But I’m eagerly waiting for acting on the big screen again. ”

“I and my elder brother Bapparaj stepped into the media industry through my father Razzak.  ‘Ami Bachte Chai’ was my debut film. Afterward, I have acted in many films. But at one stage I lost my interest in acting in films because of the poor budget of Dhallywood movies. Today, my father is no longer with us. Only a few artistes from the film fraternity are communicating with us. I have no regret about this. We are doing fine Alhumdulillah”, he added.

On the work front, Samrat has completed the shooting of the drama serial ‘Natai Ghuri’ directed by Emdadul Haque Khan. He also acted in Sajib Mahmud-directed drama serial ‘Hoi Choi Dotcom’ and Apan Rana’s drama ‘Red Alert Family’. Samrat starrer single-episode play ‘Dui Jibon’ has been aired on Ekushey Television recently.
