Bangladesh national football team and U-23s had their different schedules on Sunday as the former skipped their on-field sessions after three-day of starting their preparation camp for the upcoming Four-Nation Tournament in Sri Lanka while the latter hold on-field training and virtual sessions ahead of their last match of Group D of AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers against Saudi Arabia which is scheduled to be held in Tashkent tomorrow.
A total of 14 out of 24 players of the national team camp, who had been training under the interim coach Mario Lemos for the last three days, underwent recovery sessions on this day. The rest of the 10 players including captain Jamal Bhuyan, Finland-born Bangladeshi Tariq Raihan Kazi are still out of the camp. Jamal is expected to arrive in Dhaka today (Monday) while Tariq is still working on his passport issue.
The U-23 interim coach Maruful Haque rested the playing eleven of the previous Uzbekistan match, but the rest of the team sweated over for one and half hours at Bunyodhor FC Academy Training Ground 7 on this day.
