KSA, Bangladesh ink MoU on PPP

Bangladesh has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia (KSA) on public-private partnership (PPP) aimed at increasing Saudi investment in Bangladesh.

Saudi Arabia's Minister for Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Bangladesh Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman signed the MoU in Riyadh on Thursday.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Javed Patwari was also present on the occasion.

Salman F Rahman said that the MoU will increase Saudi investment in various sectors including infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and tourism.

The adviser urged Saudi businessmen to invest in Bangladesh, noting that Bangladesh has an investment-friendly environment.

He stated that Bangladesh will take all Saudi company’s investment with priority basis.

He also assured the Saudi companies to provide all possible cooperation.
