US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R Miller addresses the concluding ceremony of US-Bangladesh joint disaster management exercise titled ‘Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange Bangladesh 2021’ at the Army Golf Club in the city on Thursday.

A three-day post-earthquake search and rescue exercise titled ‘Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange Bangladesh 2021’ concluded at the Army Golf Club in the city on Thursday in a joint venture between the Bangladesh Armed Forces and the US Army.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen was present as the chief guest on the concluding day of the exercise.

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman was present as the special guest.

Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Lt Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman, Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Md Mohsin and US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R Miller spoke at the closing ceremony.

Among others, Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam, Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, acting Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral M Ashraful Huq and acting Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Shafiqul Alam were also present.
