On the occasion of its 11th founding anniversary, the daily has published a 48-page special supplement titled ‘Bangladesh 2041: Roadmap to a Developed Country’ where eminent experts and analysts shed light on Bangladesh’s achievements in the last 50 years and challenges ahead to become a developed country from a developing nation.
Ambassadors of different countries stationed in Dhaka have greeted the Daily Sun on its 11th founding anniversary of publication and wished more success of the daily in the days to come.
In a message of felicitation, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming has conveyed the heartiest felicitations and warmest greetings to all members of the Daily Sun on its 11th founding anniversary.
“Under the motto of ‘true and impartial’, your esteemed newspaper has become one of the most influential media platforms in Bangladesh. I am fully convinced that your fruitful past is a prologue for an even promising future,” he said.
“I myself join my colleagues in the embassy to reassure you our willingness to promote media cooperation with you to deepen mutual understandings between the Bangladeshi and Chinese people,” he added.
In a felicitation letter, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Pham Viet Chien has congratulated journalists and staff members of the Daily Sun on its 11th anniversary.
“I believe that the Daily Sun will develop with stronger growth and greater popularity, contributing to the development of Bangladesh,” he said.
He has also expressed the hope that the Daily Sun will carry more information on Vietnam which could help Vietnam come more closer to Bangladesh and further strengthen the friendship and bilateral ties between the two nations.
