Proshoon Rahmaan’s much-awaited movie ‘Dhaka Dream’ will hit theatres today. The feature film will be released in Star Cineplexes, Jamuna Blockbuster Cinemas, Shyamoli Cinema and Cinemascope of Narayanganj.  

Popular actors Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahadat Hossain, Monira Mithu, Abdullah Rana, Late SM Mohsin, Jayita Mahalanobish, Shahriar Ferdous, Purnima Bristi, Manoj Kumar, Shujat Shimul, Iqbal Hossain, Arash Khan, Akhter Hossain, Jamal Raza and others will be seen acting in the movie.

Produced by Imitation Creator, ‘Dhaka Dream’ is the third feature film of director Proshoon Rahmaan.  

According to IMDB description,  ‘Dhaka Dream’ is a tale of convergence towards a city, named Dhaka, where a bunch of outlying people gather different experiences that derives from a separate journey that is collective and yet distinctively simultaneous.

Prominent musician Kumar Biswajit composed two songs for ‘Dhaka Dream’, sung by late singer Bari Siddiqui and Momtaz respectively. 

Proshoon Rahmaan's previous films Sutopa'r Thikana and Nigrohokal both received critical acclaim upon release.

The film also screened at the International Film Festival of South Asia, Toronto in August this year.

The ‘Dhaka Dream’ got the censor board clearance certificate in February this year.  Recently, the trailer of the movie was released online.

The movie is dedicated to renowned folk singer and flutist Bari Siddiqui.
