106 more hospitalised

The country’s dengue situation has improved slightly as the daily number of infection remains below 200 for the last two days and no fresh death was reported in the last 24hours.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 106 more dengue patients were hospitalised and no death was reported in the country in the last 24 hours till Friday morning.

A total of 2,821 dengue patients were hospitalised in October, 7,841 were hospitalised in September, 7,698 in August, 2,286 in July, and 272 in June, while 43 were hospitalised  in May, three in April, 13 in March, nine in February and 32 in January this year, the DGHS said.
