Liberation War docu-drama ‘Duiti Juddher Ekti Golpo’ will be screened at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) at 6:30pm today. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal will be present as the chief guest at the programme. 

Based on true events, the drama is directed by Fuad Chowdhury. Penned by Fahmidur Rahman, the docu-drama tells the story of martyred freedom fighter Sergeant Mohi Alam Chowdhury, who was mysteriously killed during an operation on November 17, 1971. For many years, there was no information about him or even the location of his grave.

Mohi Alam’s niece Marzan decided to unveil the mystery behind her uncle’s death. Marzan searched for information about her uncle and one day she discovered the location of his grave.

In ‘Duiti Juddher Ekti Golpo’, Riad Raihan has portrayed the character of Mohi Alam Chowdhury while Ahana Mithun will be seen as Marzan Chowdhury. Mirza Shakib, Saidur Rahman, Jayshri Majumder Lota and many more artists also acted roles in the drama.
