Professor Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor, Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU), Bangladesh, has been named as one of the world’s best scientists in the AD Scientific Index 2021.

On Sunday, the international organisation published the list based on the citations and others indexes of more than 7000,000 scientists from 13,531 universities around the world. Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor achieved the recognition for his contribution and publications on concentrate technology, urban safety, climate change, earthquake disaster study and other fields of science, said a BDU press release.

The BDU family has accorded a floral reception to Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor for achievement.

BDU Registrar Md Ashraf Uddin, head of education department Md Ashrafuzzaman, head of ICT department Farzana Akter, Asst Prof Shamsuddin Ahmed, ICT department and senior system analyst Md Shahinul Kabir were present on the occasion.

Prof Dr Munaz has a chequered academic and administrative career.  Earlier, he discharged responsibilities as VC of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) and Pro-VC of the National University (NU).
