Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium will host the upcoming National Cricket League matches along with other two venues in Sylhet and Cox’s Bazar, a BCB official informed on Sunday.

Earlier, the BCB decided to host the tier-one matches in Sylhet while the tier-two matches were scheduled to take place in Cox’s Bazar.

However, due to the unavailability of a ground in Cox’s Bazar, the BCB added Chattogram venue as another host venue of the forthcoming edition of NCL, which will get underway on October 17.

The 22nd edition of the country’s traditional first-class tournament, NCL, was earlier postponed for an indefinite period after two rounds in April due to the rise of coronavirus cases in the country and later it was suspended.
