Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal returned home from Nepal on Thursday morning after injuring his left thumb which ruled him out of the ongoing Everest Premier League. “Tamim received a blow on his left thumb in the last match and got a small fracture there. Now he will be out of cricket for at least three weeks,” a BCB official told The Daily Sun.
The left-hander earlier couldn’t deliver much with the bat as he made only 75 runs in four innings for Bhairahawa Gladiators in the tournament.
Rhinos will now face Chitwan Tigers in the final on Saturday.
