Bashundhara Group welcomes interest of Kali Pradip to invest in Bangladesh

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has assured noted US-based Bangladeshi businessman Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri of providing all-out cooperation in investing in Bangladesh.

He gave the assurance when Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, the founder of KPC Group of Companies, paid a courtesy call on him at his residence in Bashundhara Residential Area on Tuesday.

The Bashundhara Group chairman welcomed Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri by presenting him with a bouquet on his arrival at his residence.

During the talks, Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri expressed his keen interest to invest in Bangladesh. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of NRB Bank and Chairman and Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfume Group of Companies, Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, Chairman of Rupayan Group and Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, Vice-Chairmen of Rupayan Group, among others, were present.

KPC Group has numerous businesses around the world. The Group is serving diverse sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, real estate, agriculture and engineering.

Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, a physician hailing from Sylhet, has created a strong footprint in business over the years through KPC Group. He is also running around 38 hospitals in the USA.
