Towhid struck an unbeaten 93 off 79 balls and put up a partnership of 101 runs with Rejaur Rahman (33) for the eighth wicket after they were reduced to 65-7 but HP Unit could reach only 189-8 in their stipulated 33 overs.
Earlier, HP Unit were set a revised target of 194 runs in 33 overs after the second innings saw a delayed start due to rain while Bangladesh A team made 222-9 in their stipulated 44 overs after they opted to bat first.
Opener Shadman Islam and middle-order batsman Imrul Kayes had notable contributions in Bangladesh A team innings, making 47 and 37 runs respectively.
Left-arm spinner Hasan Murad finished with 4-30 while pacer Rejaur claimed two wickets for HP Unit.
With this victory, Bangladesh A team clinched the ongoing one-day series as they took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-match series.
Bangladesh A team earlier won the preceding two games by 30 runs and six wickets respectively.
