The success story of Bashundhara Tissue is going to be incorporated in the international book titled ‘Essentials of Modern Marketing (EOMM)’, a publication of Kotler Impact for academic lessons in business studies.
A chapter of the book will portray the journey of Bashundhara Tissue focusing on its leading market position for over the last 20 years, officials informed the Daily Sun on Thursday. Marking the birthday of Prof Philip Kotler, the Father of Modern Marketing, US-based Kotler Impact will publish the book in May next year in association with Northern Education Group in Bangladesh. The book will be available on amazon.com worldwide.
On behalf of Bashundhara Group Vice chairman Safwan Sobhan, Head of Marketing of Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd Mohammad Alauddin, Northern Education Group President Prof Abu Yousuf M Abdullah and Northern University Bangladesh Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain were present in the meeting.
Kotler Impact is a strategic marketing community seeking to employ sustainable economic development through education.
“The book will be published in May next year marking the birth anniversary of marketing legend Prof Philip Kotler. Kotler Impact will coordinate the publication process of the academic standard book for university students,” Abdullah Mohammad Ibrahim, coordinator of the EOMM book, told the Daily Sun.
Marketing Manager Imranul Kabir and Brand Manager Karimul Arafat were also present on behalf of Bashundhara Papers Mills Ltd.
Bashundhara Tissue has recently received the ‘Asia’s Greatest Brand 2020-21’. Earlier last year, Bashundhara Tissue won the Superbrands Awards by a United Kingdom agency. It also won Best Brand Awards for three consecutive years in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
