Mostafa-Hakim Foundation observes PM’s 75th birthday

CHATTOGRAM: Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation observed different programmes including Quran khatam, discussion and relief distribution marking the 75th birthday of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Former Chattogram City Corporation Mayor and the foundation Executive Director M Manjur Alam was present at the programme as the chief guest held at Alhaj Mostafa Hakim College premises in the city’s Uttar Kattali area on Tuesday.

Addressing the programme, Manjur Alam said that Bangladesh is now a developing country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“Bangladesh will achieve more prosperity if she leads the country and lives long," he observed.

Awami League (AL) Akbar Shah Than unit President Sultan Ahmed presided over the programme while Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation Director Md Saiful Alam was present as the special guest.

AL Akbar Shah unit Vice President Lokman Ali, General Secretary Kazi Altaf Hossain, Mostafa Hakim College Principal Md Alamgir, Vice Principal Mahfujul Hoque Chowdhury and AL leader Azam Khan were also present at the programme among others.

Mentionable, the foundation arranged 100 Quaran khatam, distributed house building materials to homeless people, foods and clothes among the helpless people at the programme.
