Honda launches XBlade bikes in Bangladesh

Japanese automobile conglomerate Honda has launched two XBlade series bikes in Bangladesh from the 160 cubic capacity (cc) class.

Local chapter of the automobile giant introduced locally assembled XBlade Disc ABS and Single Disc – at a function at Pan Pacific Dhaka on Monday.

Bangladesh Honda Limited (BHL) managing director Mutsuo Usui said the brand has expanded business operations by investment and new technologies for the two-wheelers.

“This year, we have already added engine assemble and ABS facilities in our factory. With these localization facilities and 4S dealership network,” he said.

The officials said Honda is committed for affordable mobility solution with the aim of highest customers’ satisfaction in Bangladesh.

BHL senior vice president Naresh Kumar Rattan said the single disc version of XBlade already marked 25000 orders on day of launching.

“Further, to meet the 150cc segment customers’ growing needs, Honda research development department developed anti-lock braking system (ABS) in the new XBlade double disc with new refreshed design,” he said.

Officials mentioned the XBlade is complete package in terms of advanced style, good power and mileage, superior comfort features with affordable price.

XBlade is designed with advanced style features like Robo-faced LED Headlamp, sharp sculpted fuel tank, sturdy rear tyre hugger fender, sporty under cowl, attractive front fork cover and dual outlet muffler which makes advanced choices of the customers.

The single disc XBlade motorcycle is available at Tk 1.73 lakh while the double disc version is at Tk1.92 lakh at all authorized stores.
