Dakhil exams to begin Nov 14

This year’s Dakhil examination under Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board will begin on November 14.

The education board published a routine singed by its Examination Controller Kamal Uddin on Thursday night, saying that the examination will be held only in elective subjects.

As per the routine, the examinations of Quran Majid and Tajweed and Physics will be held on November 14, the exams of Hadith Sharif will be held on November 18, and the examinations of Islamic History, chemistry, Tajweed Nasar and Najam (Muzabbid group) and Tajweed (Hifjul Quran group) will be held on November 21.

All the exams will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am. The candidates were asked to follow health regulations and take their seats 30 minutes before the examinations.  Every year, the SSC, Dakhil and SSC vocational examinations usually start from the same day but the routine of SSC and vocational examinations has not been published yet.

Kamal Uddin said, “We are holding meetings with the secretaries of the examination centres to hold the exams peacefully maintaining health guidelines.”

He said, “We held a meeting on Thursday with examination centres secretaries of Dhaka division where we gave necessary directives to them to hold the exams peacefully. We will also hold meeting with the rest of exam centres secretaries in this regard.”
