BAU halls to reopens on 24 September

MYMENSINGH: After closing for a year and a half due to coronavirus, the residential hall of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is going to open on September 24. Only final year undergraduate students will be able to get up on that day. Other students will be able to get up from October 3.

Convener of Dean Council of the university Professor Dr AK Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan confirmed the matter. He said, we took the decision to re-open the residential halls for our students at Dean’s Council meeting. The semester final examination of the final year students will start on September 27. Students have to take part in the test from the halls. For this reason, the hall will be opened on September 24 for them. However, the hall will be opened for all students from October 3. Practical Classes and Class Tests will be completed between Octobers 4 to 10 for which have not yet completed.

Student affairs advisor Professor Dr AKM Zakir Hossain said, the proposal of opening halls from the Dean’s Council meeting has already passed at Academic Council. The decision will now be implemented in syndicate meeting of the university.
