Bangladesh interested to export skilled manpower to Russia

Bangladesh Ambassador to the Russian Federation HE Kamrul Ahsan has shown his keen interest to export skilled manpower in the shipbuilding industry of Vladivostok city under Primorsky region of Russia.

Bangladesh Ambassador made this appeal to Oleg Kozhemiako, Governor of the Primorsky Territory of the Russian Federation while paid a five days official visit to the eastern Russian city of Vladivostok recently.

Governor Oleg Kozhemiako assured the Ambassador that his government would seriously consider sourcing skilled workers from Bangladesh in the shipbuilding industry of Vladivostok.

He suggested holding discussion on creating a structured process in this regard.

Referring to the 13 million Bangladeshi manpower working abroad, Ambassador Kamrul Ahsan said that if Russia opens its labour market for Bangladeshis, Bangladesh would be able to provide all kinds of skilled manpower.

First Vice-Governor of the Primorsky Territory; Minister of Commerce; Minister of Labour and Technical Education; Head of the Organization for International Cooperation; Vladivostok representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry; Honorary Consul of Bangladesh to Vladivostok and First Secretary (Labour and Welfare) of the Bangladesh Embassy in Moscow were also present.
