Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said that guardians are not complying with health guidelines though students are following it since the reopening of educational institutions.
She urged everyone to be aware and stick to guidelines to stem the spread of coronavirus infection all over the country.
The minister also called upon authorities concerned to keep the educational institutions neat and tidy.
“Action will be taken instantly if litter is found anywhere in the educational institutions. We also have to be aware of dengue,” she said
Dipu Moni said, “We are trying our best to start our educational activities in full swing, maintaining health guidelines. We are also thinking of reopening universities soon.
“Once students are vaccinated, universities will be reopened based on the decision from the academic council and vice-chancellors have already been given instruction in this regard.”
Earlier, Dipu Moni visited Tamirul Millath Kamil Madrasah in Jatrabari and Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in the capital’s Baily road to monitor the health and hygiene rules practiced by the institutions to contain the spread of Covid-19.
