Homaira, Sumon pair up in a drama after 10 years

Small screen actors Homaira Himu and M A Salam Sumon have paired up again in a television project titled ‘Tobuo Hashte Hoy’ after 10 years. The duo first acted in a drama titled ‘Ukil Dekechilo’ on the story of eminent writer Imdadul Haq Milan in 2011.

Written by Aupurba Amin and directed by Reza Mahmud, ‘Tobuo Hashte Hoy’ will be aired on Ekushey Television at 10:00pm today.

About the play, Homaira Himu said, “I’ve acted with Sumon 10 years ago. Time passes so fast. Sumon is now matured in acting than before. I hope, ‘Tobuo Hashte Hoy’ will be a good drama.”

Sumon also shared, “I love acting from my childhood. My debut drama was ‘Ukil Dekechilo’. In the drama, I acted opposite Homaira Himu. After 10 years I’ve acted with her again. She is very supportive as a co-artiste. Besides, the story of the drama is amazing. I hope, the audience will like our work.”

On the other work front, Homaira has completed the shooting of a drama ‘Gunnies Book e Naam’ for BTV. Sumon has recently started acting in a new drama series ‘Hoi Choi Dot Com’ directed by Sajib Mahmud.
