The mass vaccination campaign has started across the country on Tuesday to administer the 2nd doses of Covid-19 vaccine under a national vaccination programme.

According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), outside the cities, the people who received the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine on August 7 were given the second doses from same vaccine centres across the country on September 7.

However, those who received first dose vaccine in all city corporation areas, including the capital, on August 7 and 8 were inoculated with the second dose from the same centres on the day and those who received first dose on August 9 and 10 will get second dose today (Wednesday).

Those who got first dose on August 11 and 12 will receive second dose from the same vaccination centres on September 9. The drive will continue from 9:00am to 3:00pm every day.
