Reservation of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC)-run hotel and motel rooms across the country has now gone online as the state-run agency has launched a dedicated website for this.

The same facility can be availed through mobile app within next one month, said State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali informed while inaugurating the website on Wednesday.

The online reservation system and hotel management system of BPC came under Enterprise Resource Planning (Version-2) facility.

“Anyone can book rooms of hotels and motels of BPC by visiting the website: hotels.gov.bd from any part of the world. There will also be an opportunity to give feedback to customers,” he said at the Secretariat.

Apart from the website, the service will be launched on the mobile app on September 27 on the World Tourism Day, the State Minister said.

Since its establishment, the management and services of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation have undergone many changes and its services have been modernised according to the demand of the people.

“As part of this, online booking system of hotels and motels of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation is being launched today,” he stated.

People will be able to debit card, credit card or mobile banking services to book rooms of hotels and motels of BPC through the website.
