Bangladesh national team batting consultant Ashwell Prince and fielding coach Ryan Cook arrived in Dhaka on Saturday ahead of the five-match T20I series against New Zealand.

Prince, who worked as a batting consultant during Bangladesh’s tour of Zimbabwe in July, recently received a new contract by Bangladesh Cricket Board until the 2022 ICC World T20 in Australia.

The duo is expected to complete a three-day mandatory quarantine before joining Bangladesh national team.

Spin-bowling consultant Rangana Herath, who returned home after the end of the Australia series, is expected to arrive from Sri Lanka in the next couple of days.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is also expected to return on August 24 from the USA and he will join his teammates straight at the team hotel. The Kiwis are also scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on the same day from Auckland.

Bangladesh team is scheduled to report to the team hotel on August 24 for the upcoming series against the Kiwis, scheduled to start from September 1.
