Anima Roy’s ‘Megh Boleche Jabo Jabo’

Renowned Tagore singer Anima Roy has been mesmerising music lovers with her soulful voice over the years. To mark the 80th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the singer lent her voice to a song titled ‘Megh Boleche JaboJabo’.

The song has been re-arranged by Tanvir Tareq. The recording of the track has been completed at Tanvir Tareq’s studio in the capital recently.

About the song, Anima said, “The song is very much related to Baishee Sraban and monsoon season. This is my tribute to Rabindranath Tagore. Tanvir also did well to re-arrange the music. I hope the listeners will like the song.”

Tanvir Tareq said, “Through ‘Megh Boleche JaboJabo’ I’ve composed a song for Anima for the first time. It’s very difficult to arrange music for Tagore song. I’ve used guitar, piano, cello, loup, table and other instruments to re-arrange the song. Besides, Anima is a renowned singer of the country. I hope music lovers will feel a different taste through the song. I also thank DMS their support to make this track.”

The filming of the music video of the track has also been completed at Punascho Holiday Home in Birulia. Rajesh Majumdar is the director of the video.

‘Megh Boleche Jabo Jabo’ will be released on the YouTube channel of Dhruba Music Station today.
