Seven Indian Bengali films have made the cut to this year’s Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The festival begins in August second week and is likely to feature a wide array of 100 Indian Films (including shorts and features),reports Times of India.
The films that have been selected from Bengal are ‘Jharokh’ by Aneek Chaudhuri, ‘Mayar Jonjal’ by Indranil Roy Chowdhury, ‘Abhijaan’ by Parambrata Chattopadhyay, ‘Abhijatrik’ by Subhrajit Mitra, ‘Shimul Polaash Kotha’ by Ahrujit Nandy, ‘Nona Joler Kabbo’ by Rezwaan Shahriar, and ‘Dwitiyo Purush’ by Srijit Mukherji.
