The case filed against the suspended Awami League leader Helena Jahangir under the Digital Security Act, was shifted to Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police from Gulshan Police Station on Sunday.

The officer-in-charge of the Police Station handed over the case to DB Cyber and Special Crime Division in the afternoon, said Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, deputy commissioner (DC) of Gulshan Crime Division of the DMP.

In the meantime, Helena was shown arrest in two other cases—one was filed with the police station under the Drugs Act and another with Pallabi Police Station under the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Act.
