21,056 pass 41st BCS preliminary test

Bangladesh Public Service Commission on Sunday published the results of the 41st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination.

A total of 21,056 candidates, who appeared at the exam on March 19 this year, qualified in the preliminary tests, said a BPSC press release.

The results of the 41st BCS preliminary tests are available on BPSC website and the results could also be known from any Teletalk number through text message. Type: PSC<space>41<space>Registration Number and send the text to 16222 to get the results through SMS. However, the schedule for the 41st BCS written exams will be announced later, according to the release.

Earlier, the PSC published the circular for 41st BCS on November 27, 2019 to recruit 2,135 Class-1 gazetted officers in government service.

Around 475,000 applicants registered for the 41st BCS preliminary exam.

Under the 41st BCS, among other cadres, 323 aspirants will be recruited in the admin cadre, 100 in police, and 25 in Foreign Service. Besides, 905 lecturers will be recruited through this BCS.
