Deepa Khandaker stars in Mourning Day drama

Deepa Khandaker is a popular small screen actress of the country. The artiste has presented many audience-acclaimed dramas in her long career.

Deepa Khandaker now will be seen acting in a new drama titled ‘Doshti Coffee and Irfan er Golpo’. Written by Iqbal Khondokar, Bangladesh Television will produce the drama.

The play will be aired on BTV on August 15 on the occasion of National Mourning Day.

Talking about the drama, Deepa Khandaker said, “The script of the drama is amazing. I will play an important role in it. The shooting of the drama will begin at BTV’s studio on August 7. The special drama will be aired on August 15.”

Deepa Khandokar is a popular television actress of the country. Deepa Khandokar mainly acts in television dramas. She has modeled in commercials and starred in notable films. Among her notable films is Bhaijan Elore (India).  

Before starting her acting career, she served as a flight attendant. She debuted in acting in the television play Kaktarua. 

Her popular tel-dramas include ‘Meghe Dhaka Manus’, ‘Ebong Ami’, ‘Andhakare Phul’, ‘Ghar Sangsar’, ‘Mohua’, ‘Swapnabhog’, ‘Society’, ‘Sakkhi Kutum’, among many others. She has also received immense praise for her role as a presenter in TV show titled ‘House Wife’. The programme was aired on Channel 24.

Deepa Khandakar also appeared in a Canadian feature film ‘A Father's Diary’ directed by Golam Mustofa, produced by Banzai Multimedia, acting as mother in a supporting role where she turned her sweet live vocal to the Ekusher Gaan – ‘The Song of Twentyfirst’ that has been praised of! 

Khandakar has done television commercials for companies including Swan Foam, Aarong, Lipton Tazaa Tea, Starship, Cute Powder, Tibet, and Tibet Coconut Oil.
