Spice TV joins Bangabandhu Satellite

Spice Television Limited (Spice TV) has joined with Bangabandhu Satellite-1 broadcasting Service as the 37th television channel.

Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL) and Spice Television Limited (Spice TV) signed a commercial agreement on Bangabandhu Satellite-1 broadcasting Service at BSCL head office in Dhaka on Wednesday.

BSCL Chairman Dr Shahjahan Mahmood presided over the event, said a press release. Posts and Telecommunications Department Secretary Md Afzal Hossain  attended the function as the chief guest while BSCL Director Barrister Reza-E-Rakib was present as special guest.

BSCL Managing Director (Additional) Md Shafiqul Islam and Spice TV Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Hasan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. 

City Group Director (Corporate & Regulatory Affairs) Biswajit Saha, Spice TV Editorial Chief Tushar Abdullah, Head of Broadcast Md Tanzilur Rahman, BSCL Assistant General Manager (Sales & Engineering) Bakhtiar Ahmed, General Manager (Broadcast, Media & Promotion) Md Sofiul Azam, among others, were present on the occasion.
