Ex-DG of PM’s office Mahamudur dies

Dr Mohammad Mahamudur Rahman, former Director General (DG) of the Prime Minister’s Office and valiant freedom fighter, died at Labaid Hospital in the city at around 5.34am on Saturday.

He was 64.

According to family sources, Rahman had been suffering from various physical complications, including coronavirus, reports BSS.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers.

He will be buried next to his parents’ grave in Patuakhali following a Namaz-e-Janaza after Asr prayers today.
