Bangladesh on Saturday reported 6,780 fresh COVID-19 cases and 195 deaths from the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
“The country reported 32.55 percent COVID-19 positive cases as 20,827 samples were tested in the past 24 hours. The daily infection continued to exceed 10,000-mark for several days since July 6,” Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its routine daily statement.
The recovery count rose to 9,88,339 after another 9,723 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.
The DGHS statistics showed that of the people infected from the beginning, 85.69 percent recovered and 1.65 percent died.
