Bangladesh HC in New Delhi celebrates Eid

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the holy religious festival of Muslims, the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi organised an event at Bangabandhu Hall of the embassy on Wednesday night.

High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India Muhammad Imran exchanged Eid greetings with the embassy officials, all staff and their family members.

The message sent by President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was read out during the Eid. Deputy High Commissioner of the embassy read out the President’s speech and Minister (Press) Shaban Mahmood read out the Prime Minister’s speech.

High Commissioner Muhammad Imran wished welfare and prosperity to the people in his speech.

Addressing the officials and staff of the embassy, the High Commissioner said that your children should be present at all the national functions of the embassy. In this way they will be able to know about the history and tradition of Bangabandhu, the great hero of Bangladesh’s independence.
