Sk Russel held by Muktijoddha

Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited was held to a goalless draw by Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra at the Bangabandhu National Stadium as the second leg of Bangladesh Premier League resumed after an 11-day lockdown break on Wednesday.

Sheikh Russel have now earned 27 points from 17 matches and are placed sixth while Muktijoddha have claimed 11 points from 16 matches and are placed 11th in the 13-team points table.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited will face Saif Sporting Club today in their 16th match of the ongoing BPL.

The second phase of BPL, which resumed on June 26 after a 45-day layoff, was temporarily postponed after six matches on July 2 due to the hostile weather, rain and muddy ground at the BNS.
